Death and the Ladies woodcut from the Latin editon of The Dance of Death printed in Paris, France, in 1490 by Guyot Marchand for the publisher Geoffroi de Marnef. Originating from the medieval tradition of the Danse Macabre (“Dance of Death”), this striking woodcut depicts Death leading figures from every station of life in a reminder of life’s impermanence and humanity’s shared fate. Rich in symbolism and historical significance, the image remains one of the most enduring visual expressions of memento mori – a meditation on mortality, beauty, and the passage of time.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES You may exchange the item, or get a full refund if there are any defects / misprints. Please send me a photo of the item showing the defect. No need to send it back, I’ll just send you another one or refund you. I can accept exchanges or returns for size issues. You will have to pay for shipping, and the item must be unworn and in the same condition you received it. With that in mind, please make sure to select the correct size.
